The café focusses on fresh local produce, a seasonal homegrown vege and herb garden and the orchard offering tasty, juicy peaches and nectarines that you get to pick direct from the tree.
While the café is obviously a drawcard, meeting the animals is equally anticipated with the farm a mish-mash of rescued animals and poddys (animals who have lost their Mum), who all live happily together and share their space without prejudice or fear.
They have goats, sheep, chooks and turkeys, peacocks, geese, a pig, rabbits, a kangaroo, a shy cat, poppy the sausage dog and kelpies and they all love cuddles, scratches and lots of food. They are constantly expanding their family and you never quite know who’s arriving on the farm next and nor do they.
The relaxed atmosphere at The Peach Farm affords guests the opportunity to absorb the natural surroundings and enjoy a picnic under the fruit trees, take five with a coffee as the kids meet the animals or simply choose to unwind in the cafe area.
'Pick Your Own' peaches and nectarines operate from September to November where visitors grab a bucket and pick(and eat) the fruit straight from the tree....
